TRAIN YOUR BRAIN

“If we want to live healthy lives, we have to have healthy minds – and that starts with thinking positively instead of negatively.”~ Joyce Meyer

I’m a father and the Bible tells me to train my daughter up in the way that she should go. I’m also a manager on my job. I have to train employees to provide quality customer service. I’m also a mentor to many. I train people to get closer to God and to understand His Word more. Yes, I do a lot of training. But I couldn’t do any of this if I didn’t train my mind first. Did you know that you can train your mind to work for you? If not, then chances are that your mind is working against you. That may be why you’re suffering. That may be why you’re failing. That may be why you’re complaining so much. But not anymore! You can teach your mind to work for you and not against you.

Train your mind to think positive. Positive thinking produces positive results. There are so many benefits to positive thinking. Here are a few:

* Positive thinking releases the power of potential.
* Positive thinking encourages positive responses.
* Positive thinking keeps things in perspective.
* Positive thinking helps you enjoy life.
“Being positive does not mean we deny the existence of difficulty; it means we believe God is greater than our difficulties.”~ Joyce Meyer

Train your brain to trust God. Train your brain to think positive. Train your brain to have thoughts that line up with God’s Word. That’s why it’s so important to renew your mind. Fill your mind with the Word of God.
“Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.”
Romans 12:2 NLT

You can also train your brain by connecting with positive resources, such as people, books, audio teachings, and other avenues that provide valuable information. Hang around people that can pour into your life. Hang around people that cause you to think BIG. Hang around people that will stimulate your thinking.
“Just as iron sharpens iron, friends sharpen the minds of each other.” Proverbs 27:17 CEV

But even if your family, friends, coworkers, or people in your circle are not positive, just make sure that YOU are still positive. Make sure that YOU are optimistic. Make sure that YOU have a positive outlook in every situation.
“Don’t let someone else’s thinking limit you. Negativity can be contagious; you have to pay attention if you don’t want to catch it!” ~ Joyce Meyer
